MEET ANN SHIPPY
Dedicated Leadership for SC House District 123

I'm Ann Shippy—a retired Air Force Colonel, long-time resident of Hilton Head, and I’ve spent a lifetime in service - both in uniform and in my community. I served as the South Carolina Ambassador to the Women’s Memorial in Washington, DC, and here on Hilton Head, I’ve served as an HOA President, a Deacon, and now an Elder in my church, and as a volunteer with the Hilton Head Humane Association. Service is in my DNA.

I served our country for 28 years, and my husband Doug—a retired Air Force fighter pilot—and I have built our lives around service and community. As a retired Air Force officer myself, my professional experience has prepared me to lead with a mission-first mindset and accountability.

Commanding large organizations required planning, strategy, communication, and, most importantly, listening, trusting, and representing the people who depend on you.

District 123 is ready for fresh ideas, a new approach, and strong, accountable leadership that delivers real solutions for our community. Your voice matters, and I WILL listen and act on your behalf. You can count on representation with honesty, integrity, and open communication.

Your Issues Are My Issues.
